  1. Why do you need a harness? A good Race Harness is one of the most vital safety components of any race car. It doesn’t matter if you’re a drifter or a drag racer a quality certified, correctly installed and well looked after harness can and will save your life.  In a crash, the sudden change in speed and direction can put massive force on the occupant’s body, causing injury or even death. The role of a harness in a crash is to prevent the mass of your body from moving within the seat and car. The wide straps...

Cut Snake Racing #21 Sponsorship

As mentioned in the last blog, we said we would give you an update on what’s going on with our sponsorship program. We have several opportunities going on at the moment and will cover each one in future blog posts but for today would like to welcome Anthony from Cut Snake Racing to the Luxe Performance team. Castor mods worked #blazefordays #keepdriftingfun

Bit of an update on how the R32 Sedan Drift Car went at the D1WA Matsuri event and some follow up testing we did at Ken Leongs Drift school on the weekend. Following the mods we covered in the last Blog, we are proud to say that with the help of DC Autos we are moving in the right direction, alignment wise we ended putting 8.2⁰ Caster, 4⁰ Camber and 2mm toe out each side into the front. In the rear we kept the same 0.3⁰camber and 1.5mm toe in each side. Had a blast at Matsuri smashing 160L of...

#driftwars - its not all lock stomp and steer.

One thing you may have learnt from our last blog post is that we have a Nissan Skyline #r32 sedan drift car based in WA. I thought we’d give you a bit of insight into what we’re up to with it. At the National _D1WA Drfitwars event we got our good friend, gun mechanic and ex ADGP driver Damien from DC Auto Repairs to drive the skyline. I’ve had mixed results with the car over the D1WA season and needed some feedback from a pro, I’m glad I did. Damien and his team at DC autos had just finished installing...
