Quick update from the WA Sporting Car Club August racing meeting at Barbagallo race way, we had local Karter Anthony Jewell drive the Luxe Performance Excel.  At 15 this was Anthony's first circuit race meeting, he was the youngest on the grid of 24 cars - he qualified well, keep the car clean and was fast. Really sorry its been sometime between blogs but here’s a quick update :) The #teamluxeperformance Excel Cup car – we ran a couple of bearings in the engine the last time I drove, the car felt strong but the engine failure ended the night.  We are very lucky to have some great local help Damien at DC Auto Centre helped strip the engine out of the spare car and Excel legend Paul Passaris rebuilt the spare engine for us at the drop of a hat to finish it of we added a baffled sump by Carlos Ambrosio to stop any...

Still seeing Kill switches done incorrectly - The officials at the track are well trained and there to respond in an emergency – if you are unfortunate enough to have an accident and your unresponsive the officials know to hit the isolator to kill the car. If your isolator just cuts the battery and the engine keeps running on pumping oil everywhere or worse fuel its not going to end well.
