Collie Motorplex Delivers Another Cracker – Lap Records, Tight Points & Grassroots Glory!
Another brilliant weekend in the books at Collie Motorplex, and we owe a massive shoutout to Anna and the entire crew for putting on an exceptional event once again. From start to finish, the atmosphere was buzzing, the track was dialled in, and the passion for grassroots racing was alive and well.
While field sizes were a touch lighter than usual, the quality of the racing was anything but. The on-track action didn’t let up, and the lap times proved it.
🔥 Brent Breaks Records
Brent was on fire in the freshly-built BMW M3, pushing hard all weekend and rewarded with not just the win, but a new formal lap record at the venue: a blistering 1:17.9 – shaving over a full second off his previous benchmark. That’s not just fast—it’s flying.
🚗 Michael Keeps It Tight
In a totally different class but right in the thick of the championship hunt, Michael piloted the Mini with signature consistency. Rock-solid pace, clean driving, and strategic points gathering—he’s proving once again that smooth is fast.
⚡ The Powerhouse Cup Finale Is Set
Heading into the final round of the Powerhouse Cup, there’s just 10 points separating Brent and Michael. Different cars, different classes—but it’s shaping up to be another nail-biter. If this all feels a little familiar, you’re not imagining things. Last year’s championship went down to the wire between Sue in the AMG A45 and Damo in the Renault Megane.
