Luxe Performance Takes on the 2026 Bathurst 12 Hour

Luxe Performance Takes on the 2026 Bathurst 12 Hour

We’re proud to confirm that Luxe Performance will be competing at the 2026 Bathurst 12 Hour in the Combined Sedans support category — and this entry is about much more than just one race weekend.

For our team, this event represents a rare and invaluable opportunity to test at Mount Panorama ahead of our major focus later in 2026: the Bathurst 6 Hour.

Testing and racing at Bathurst simply doesn’t happen often. Track time on the Mountain is limited, highly sought after, and incredibly valuable. Being on the grid during the Bathurst 12 Hour weekend allows us to gather real-world data, experience, and confidence on one of the toughest circuits in global motorsport.

This weekend gives us the chance to:

  • Dial in car setup specific to Mount Panorama

  • Validate braking, cooling, and reliability under race conditions

  • Refine driver processes and decision-making on the Mountain

  • Learn how the car behaves across the full lap — from The Cutting to The Chase

All of this feeds directly into our preparation for the Bathurst Production Car 6 Hour later in the year.

Combined Sedans – Serious Preparation

The Combined Sedans category delivers competitive, hard racing in a high-pressure environment — exactly what’s required to properly test both car and team. Every lap counts, every mistake is punished, and every gain is earned.

This makes it the ideal proving ground:

  • Race pace, not test pace

  • Traffic management

  • Standing starts, race procedures, and pressure situations

It’s as close as you get to proper Bathurst race conditions without being in the main endurance event itself.

Built for the Long Game

This isn’t a box-ticking exercise. Luxe Performance is approaching the Bathurst 12 Hour with the same mindset we’ll take into the Production Car 6 Hour — preparation, discipline, and reliability first.

Mount Panorama rewards teams that respect it. The Mountain exposes weaknesses quickly, and that’s exactly why this opportunity is so important. What we learn here could make the difference later in 2026.

The Road to the 6 Hour Starts Now

The Bathurst 12 Hour is the beginning of our Bathurst campaign, not the end of it. From testing insights and setup changes to driver confidence and team execution, everything we do on this weekend is about building toward the main event.

We’ll be sharing the journey along the way:

  • Pre-event preparation

  • Testing insights

  • Race weekend updates

  • Lessons learned on the Mountain

Bathurst doesn’t give many chances — and when one comes up, you take it.

See you on the Mountain. 🏔️🏁
